NAILED IT - SPARKLES

Inspired by the studs and glitter post done by the lovely Jess yesterday I decided to take a sky blue nail lacquer by KIKO that I had been wearing on my nails, and turn it into a sparkly freehand ruffian manicure (which is basically an upside down french tip).

The silver sparkle polish was one purchased at Sportsgirl. I love ruffian manicures because they give you a chance to mix colours in a classy way, and thought the sparkles was a perfect way to add something extra to my plain manicure!

Hope you all like it :)

NAILED IT: NEON IS NOW!

As promised, here is a swatch of a bright and bold yellow neon nail polish "Anyone for Tennis" by BYS Nail Enamel.

The formula for the polish was very thin, therefore I had to do about 3 or 4 coats in order to achieve the look you see in the picture... it took ages to dry and was very thick! Hopefully with a bit more searching I'll find a polish of similar colour that is a bit more opaque :)

Love the neon look on my nails, it adds colour and a pop to any outfit I wear!

Have a great weekend everyone!

NAILED IT - PASTELS

Obsessed with this fab OPI pastel "Mod About You". Unlike other baby pink pastel polishes, this OPI favourite only takes one coat before it is a lovely opaque stark pink. The formula is perfect too! Thought I'd have a bit of a play with another pastel I recently purchased- "Lemon Cream" by Mavala. The gold stripes in the centre of the nail are leftover nail stickers purchased from Blanco. Hope you guys are loving pastels as much as me! Stay tuned for some bright and bold neons!

NAILED IT... PART ONE

My sister has many talents and one of them is nail art.

She is obsessed with nail art and her nails are always perfectly manicured with intricate details -  I'm pretty sure she can recite the name of every OPI colour!!!

This is part one of some new nail posts we will be featuring. Stay tuned for further information on the above style as well as many more....
